Face & Neck PRP Treatment (Platelet Rich Plasma)

In recent years, doctors have learned that the body has the ability to heal itself. Platelet-rich plasma therapy is a form of regenerative medicine that can harness those abilities and amplify the natural growth factors the body uses to heal tissue.

Platelets are well-known for their clotting abilities, but they also contain growth factors that can trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration or healing in the treated area.

Many patients are finding that PRP can:

  • Reduce wrinkles

  • Plump up sagging skin

  • Get rid of deep creases

  • Improve skin complexion

  • Diminish acne scars

  • Restore hair growth

PRP and the eyes

  1. The under-eye area can appear hollowed out, because of volume loss as we age. PRP is highly effective for restoring sunken eyes.

  2. Dark circles, under eye bags or pigmentation around your eyes can make you look tired and older but PRP treatments can overcome these issues, can turn back the clock and revitalise tired looking eyes, giving you added confidence.

  3. The effect on the eye is maximised by using mesotherapy with the PRP with one week apart.

The effect on the face usually last from 12 to 24 months.

Combination of PRP and Mesotherapy

There are two ways of combing PRP treatment and Mesotherapy:

  1. You can start with PRP and then weekly treatment of mesotherapy and end with PRP a week after.

  2. You may mix PRP and the appropriate mesotherapy serum as 3:1 part and inject them the same way as for PRP.
