The O & PInjection
Up to 25% of women have orgasmic dysfunction. O-injection, is a non-surgical procedure that can stimulate the vagina and clitoral areas in a way that positively impacts orgasms.
The procedure is performed in the doctor’s consulting room, by injecting that patients own blood platelets into the vaginal tissue and the clitoral area. These platelets then stimulate the growth of new cells in the injected areas, making those areas more sensitive to the touch.
Who may require the O-injection?
The ‘O’ in ‘O-injection’ stands for ‘orgasm’ and it has become sought-after worldwide by women seeking enhanced sexual pleasure. It can benefit women who have experienced a loss of orgasm post natural childbirth or menopause, suffer from vaginal dryness, pain during sexual intercourse
What does the treatment involve?
There is an injection of PRP (platelet rich plasma), made from patients’ own blood. The blood is taken from patient’s arm and spun in a special machine to remove red blood cells. PRP has a greater concentration of growth factors, which are used in the healing process. PRP is used widely in sports injuries, orthopaedics, plastic surgery and dermatology. It has gained popularity for the treatment of hair loss and for skin rejuvenation (the ‘vampire facelift’).
The O-injection is an injection of PRP into the area of the G-spot – underneath the urethra. PRP can also be injected into the clitoral area to stimulate orgasm and into the vaginal wall to treat vaginal dryness and painful intercourse as well as frequent vaginal infections.
Where and how is the treatment performed?
-
O-injection is performed in the treatment room under local anaesthesia. The doctor will draw blood from a vein in your arm and use a special machine to prepare PRP. The doctor will apply anaesthetic cream to numb the area on injection. You rarely need an anaesthetic injection to numb the area further. The doctor will then inject PRP in the G-spot, clitoral area, vagina or all three areas depending on your needs. The most common effect is increased frequency and intensity of vaginal orgasm, as well as increased vaginal wetness
How long does the procedure take?
The procedure takes about 30 minutes.
Can I go back to work after the procedure?
Yes. You can return to your regular activities following the O-injection.
What are the side effects of this procedure?
-
Pain is uncommon, but some patients may experience it during the procedure and shortly afterwards
-
Discomfort when passing urine is very rare
-
Urinary retention for 1-2 days after G spot injection is very rare, which resolves on its own. It happens because the injected substance compresses the urethra. In such cases, doctors will insert a catheter into the bladder for 1-2 days
The O-injection is a very safe procedure and the complications are extremely rare.
When does one feel the effect of O-injection?
The effect of O-injection starts in about 3 weeks after the injection and the full effect will take about 3 - 6 months. The effect of the injection lasts for about 12 months.
Are there reasons why one should not have O-injection?
The doctor will do a full assessment to establish if you should have O-injection. There are few conditions when you are not allowed to have O-injection such as infection, blood disorders, cancer or unrealistic expectations.
What is the difference between O-injection and G-spot augmentation?
G-spot augmentation is an injection of hyaluronic acid into the G-spot to increase the ability to have a vaginal orgasm. O-injection treats vaginal dryness, decrease pain during intercourse and increase vaginal lubrication in addition to enhancing the orgasm.
What is the P injection?
Male Genital PRP which is called P injection is injecting the patient’s PRP into the Penis with a special technique to treat erectile dysfunction. It is done under local anaesthetic cream. It is not painful with excellent results in most of the cases
